>
> More than 20 Little Lambs parents, staff and friends piled into a
> stretch limousine bus ready to raise as much money as they could for
> their favorite preschool.
>
> DADDS.com Magic Bus, Limousine and Entertainment Tours donated the
> transportation to tour the group around West Michigan as a fundraiser
> for the school. The tour will help raise nearly $500 and celebrate 30
> years of learning through play.
>
> "It is just a great time having everyone get together," said school
> supporter Shelly Beaver. "We share a lot of laughs and it is great that
> the money raised goes towards the students."
>
> The stretch bus made stops at Uccello's for sponsored appetizers,
> Davenport University to visit the sculpture exhibit, and several other
> downtown Grand Rapids fun spots.
>
> "This is a great way to help raise money for the school," said parent
> Rachel Jaquish, whose son Xander attends Little Lambs. "I just moved
> into the area and heard about Little Lambs through a flyer at Duncan Lake."
>
> The money will help beautify the building through external aesthetic
> repairs. School officials hope to completely re-side the building this
> summer and fundraisers like this and benefactor donations will primarily
> fund the project.
>
> "Through the help of families, friends and benefactors we recently redid
> the roof," said Vice President Michele Beck. "Fundraisers like this help
> a lot. It's a great way to celebrate 30 years and it pretty much sells
> itself."
>
> DADDS.com Magic Bus, Limousine and Entertainment Tours and Little Lambs
> parent Frank Roberts said he is happy to donate the bus for the school's
> benefit and would love to help other area schools.
>
> "Once a year we offer the limo as a way to raise money for the school
> and it is great to meet all the other parents," Roberts said. "We would
> love to help out any school in the area as well. If they give us a
> little notice, we'll see what we can do to help them out as well."
>
> Little Lambs is always accepting community donations and is holding
> several spring fundraisers including a garage sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
> on their 7248 68th St. campus, and an ice cream sale at the July 4
> celebration in Caledonia.
